Charting Data

Tasting Notes Detail

There is a “Chart” tab on the bottom part of the Tasting Notes Detail page. This tab shows three charts and a data table.

  • Brix/Temp Chart

    • This chart only shows Brix and Temp and cannot be modified. That said it can be hidden for when you don’t need to look at Brix and Temp any longer.

      • To hide this chart, click on the “Toggle Brix/Temp” button.

  • Lab data

    • On the “Data” tab, you select the lab data that you want to show on this chart by clicking on the little chart icons to the left of the lab data column header.

  • “Brush”

    • This chart is more of a control than a chart, you can click and drag on this chart to “scrub” or “brush” the timelines of the “BRix/Temp” and the “Lab data” charts.

    • This is handy once if the data starts to continue on for a significant amount of time. For instance, after primary fermentation is complete, you may still be collecting lab data about the blend. This could go on for some time. By using this “brush”, you can move through time and better see the charted data.

  • Data Table

    • This shows the values numerically. This complements the charts.

    • This too will show any lab data that you’ve chosen to plot in the Lab data chart.
