The Drain and Press Schedule depicts, in calendar view, Drain and Press activities scheduled against Tasting Notes.
The Drain and Press Schedule can be accessed at Tasting Notes > Drain and Press Schedule.
When the view first opens, select a site, start date and duration.
All drain and press actions within the selected duration will now be displayed on the view.
Each bar on the schedule indicates a single Drain and/or Press Action for a Tasting Note. The bar provides key information for the action.
The left bar will display:
red for a drain and press (D/P)
green for a drain on skins (D/S)
yellow for a drain only (DO)
The colour of the main bar indicates whether the Drain/Press action has requested or scheduled drain dates.
If only a ‘Requested Drain Date’ exists, then the action will be shown in a Light Grey.
If a ‘Scheduled Drain Date’ exists, then the action will be shown in a light blue colour.
If only a Press date exists, then the action will be shown in blue colour.
As each drain and/or press action can have multiple dates associated with it, the following logic is used to determine which date each action should be displayed on.
If there is a 'Press Date', the action will be displayed on the 'Press Date'
If there is no 'Press Date', but there is a 'Scheduled Drain Date', the action will be displayed on this date.
If there is only a 'Requested Drain Date' set, the action will be displayed on this date.
Additional information for each action can also be seen by hovering over the bar.
Actions are displayed in a nested manner depending on the selections on the Y-axis. There are 2 levels available to select.
The options available are the same for both levels.
If, for example, Brand is selected as the first level, and Grade as the second, then actions will be shown by Brand, and then within each brand, split by grade.
The Drain and Press schedule can also be filtered using a number of key elements on the Drain/Press action and associated Tasting Note.
To access the filter, select the Filter icon in the top left of the calendar.
The filter options are then displayed.
The calendar will filter dynamically as options are selected.
Double clicking on an action will open it up, with data able to be edited.
Once any changes have been made, select the Save button. Any changes to dates will result in the bar moving on the calendar.
Each action can also be moved by dragging and dropping the action to a new date.
Multiple press actions can be scheduled to be performed on the same press at the same time simply by setting the same date and time, and the same press, on each action.
When the Y-axis of the calendar is set to show 'Press', the actions will then appear together.
At the top of the each day on the calendar is a bubble to depict:
a) The total number of tons being pressed for the day
b) The total press actions occurring.
The size of the bubble adjusts depending on the value within.
Note that actions with a type of 'Drain Only' are not taken into account in these figures.
