Planning at the EUR Level

In order to facilitate longer term planning, before wine is in barrel, work plans for barrel work can be created at the EUR level. Plans created on the EUR view have no relationship to Barrel Groups or Topping Groups.
The EUR tab on the main view list all EURs that are able to have barrel plans created against them within the Barrel Planning module. In order for an EUR to be displayed, it must have been set up with a Debarrel Date (See Barrel Planning Site Data - Debarrel Date Management).
There are a number of activities possible from the EUR tab.
Adding individual work plans (See the Creating a New Work Plan within Adding and Editing Barrel Work)
Editing existing work plans (See Adding and Editing Barrel Work)
Moving work plans (See the Drag and Drop section within Adding and Editing Barrel Work)
Creating plans using an Oak Template
Oak Templates are a set of activities that are commonly performed for a varietal, with a standard cadence. Oak Templates are created as per the Oak Template Setup within the Master Data section).
To apply an Oak Template to an EUR or set of EURs, and hence create a set of plans, first check the EUR(s) and then select the 'Create Plans Using Template' button.
The Create Work Plans modal is now shown. The template to be applied can now be selected.
Selecting a template then adds the activities within that template, and the associated cadences, to the view. Rather than applying work plans from the Debarrel Date backwards, this function provides the ability to indicate when the work plans should start from. This allows for forward planning.
Any changes made to activities and cadence in this view will only apply to this particular instance. The template itself will not be changed.
When ready, select 'Create Work Plans' to create the work plans from the template.
The work plans will then be visible in the main view.
