Loading Tasting Notes Header Data

With this feature you have the ability to update a set of Tasting Notes header data via a spreadsheet. This helps with making updates across multiple tasting note headers all at once.
Tasting Notes (vessel & blend ID/lot code) need to exist in vinoEZ for this update to work properly. This will not create any new records. This will only update data based on a match of the vessel & blend ID/lot code.
Important: there is one, standard import file structure that is to be used. That said, not all columns are necessary to have data. However, there are two columns of data that are required:
Vessel
Lot Code
In the vinoEZ navigation bar, click on “Tasting Notes”
In the dropdown, click on “Load Tasting Notes Header Data”.
Click the Choose File button and find the file on your computer to upload.
Click the “Import Data” button.
It will let you know if it has successfully loaded the data into the staging table.
This will also go through a data validation step. If there are any failures, you’ll need to follow the directions on the screen to update your file and re-import.
Then you’ll click on “Load Tasting Notes Header Data” button to move the data from the staging table and into the “live” table.
At this point, the matched Tasting Notes will have their header data updated with the data that was in the uploaded spreadsheet.
