Grouping and Sequencing Plans

In order to define a group of plans that will occur in the cellar as a certain sequence, a 'Work Plan Group' can be created.
A new work plan group can be added by selecting the 'Add Work Plan Group' button within Cellar Planning
The Work plan group can then be given a name, and selection boxes are seen next to the work plans available to be added to the group.
Notes when adding work plans to a work plan group:
Only work plans with a status of 'Planned' or 'Released' can be added into a work plan group
If a work plan is already in a work plan group it cannot be added to another work plan group
If a work plan's Earliest Start and Due dates are in the past it can still be added into a group
Additional work plans can be added to the work plan group after creation. See Editing a Work Plan Group.
Check the filters applied on the Cellar Planning grid prior to starting to create the group in order to ensure all work plans to be added can be seen in the grid.
Once all required plans have been added to the work plan group, select 'Create'.
The default sequence for the work plans will be in order of the work plan IDs.
The Work Plan Group modal will now be shown. Within this Modal the actions described within Editing a Work Plan Group can be performed.
Work plan groups can be edited immediately after creation, or by selecting the work plan group name against a work plan within the Cellar Planning grid.
The Work Plan Group modal will be shown. Within this Modal the following functions can be performed:
Additional work plans can be added to the work plan group. In order to do this, the ID of the work plan to be added is needed. (This can be found by locating the relevant work plan within the Cellar Planning grid and taking note of the ID before editing the group).
2. The sequence of the work plans in the group can be reordered. To do this, hover over the arrow icon beside the work plan to be resequenced. Then click on the arrow icon and and drag the plan to its new position in the sequence.
If the reordering of plans results in the Earliest Start Dates not being in sequence, a note will be shown below the grid to highlight this. The group will still be able to be saved.
When finished editing. Select 'Save'.
The work plan group for any work plan can be seen within the 'Work Plan Group' column in Cellar Planning. The entry in this column indicates both the Work Plan Group and the sequence position of a plan in the group.
Topping and SO2 add [3]
indicates that the work plan is sequence number 3 within the 'Topping and SO2 add' work plan group.
Sorting by this column will list the work plan groups, with the work plans in order of sequence. (Note though that any filters on the grid will still apply so not all work plans in the group may necessarily be visible in this view).
